I'm in love with this artist. I stumbled upon him some months ago, half wrote a blog but must have fallen asleep or got distracted by a guitar or guests! I can only apologise for not bringing his work to your eyes sooner!
Riccardo Guasco aka "rik" is a cartoonist, illustrator and painter. He bagan work as a children's illustrator then later as Art Director at an advertising agency in Milan. He has worked with various media agencies and publishers as an illustrator and cartoonist.
His influences are Picasso, Munari, Rodari and he believes that drawing is a form of poetry and he looks for lightness of form and warm colours. He has a soul for drawing tall houses, bicycles, whales, birds and boats.
