Ready, Set, Go Here!

Dungeness...
Its my birthday week and as open as I am to acknowledging its existence I'm never keen on celebrating the day and making a big thing of it... however I love making it an excuse to go off and so self indulgent things on my own. My Best friend Sarah may as well be part of me we're so close, so spending a day out an about trusty cameras definitely counts as part of my self indulgence. We settled on one of our favourite photo spots dungeness and braved the cold for a day of shooting.
As both of us took our Dianas out as well as our SLRs only the digi pics are posted but I'll show you our results as soon as I can.
The Suffolk Coastline still just about operates as a Fishing area but more than that Dungeness has historical links with the Romans, WW1, there's a hidden Royal Railway Carriage, no less than two lighthouses and oh... did I mention a Nuclear Power Station??
It was the home of the artist Derek Jarmin and typically of a lot of Kent coastal homes, the local's live in ramshackleded sheds, old railways carriages and wind-beaten wooden homes, amongst squeaky sea vegetation and homemade art. Its a surreal place and I wouldn't change it for the world...
