I am lucky enough to be part of The Create Place Collective in Whitechapel's Bethnal Green and this weekend yet another exciting PopUp Shop is taking place! It's a great way to support London community charities and artists as well as finding something really special and crafted for the one you love!
The idea of forming a collective of artists came after The Create Place hosted a successful Valentine’s pop-up shop which took place in early February and was an amazing success.
The Create Place shop provides a platform for new designers to sell their work by taking minimal commission and allowing the members to run the shop, each designer has a key role to play in shaping the project.
You can now buy our handmade gifts from our unique shop.
The shop is staffed by members of the collective at the weekends so you can meet the designers themselves and ask them about their inspiration and work.
Alongside the regular shop we will be hosting PopUp Shops for other key events like Mothers Day such as Father’s Day, Halloween & Christmas. We will also be proudly hosting events in conjunction with Letter Lounge, who aim to get us back writing proper letters, through their free events.
