Venn Street Market

Everyone who loves a good market, raise their hand in the air and say aye... and then read on!
-I mean who doesn't love a good wander around, taking in the sights, sounds, smells, chants, banter and tom foolery of a good market? If you're ever in the area on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, jump on their site and see if you can bask in the glory of their monthly get ups! It'll be a right-nice day out!

Resting at the north end of Clapham Common is Venn Street Market. Outside the Clapham Picture House - an ace little private cinema and neighbouring new bar, Venn Street Records, small but perfectly formed with a good music selection and dark, intimate decor. Saturdays are for the foodies providing locally sourced and seasonal fruit and veg piled high, tasty hot and cold foods from around the globe, breads and bakes and handmade cakes! Sundays are more for the gardening types selling plants and accessories as well as handmade crafts but some eatery stalls are still in attendance.

Coffee stalls such as: Ca Phe VN are also there as well as Cider and Ale producers, just what you need on these hot summer like afternoons! aaahhhh! -There's also the local butcher from around the corner at MOET'S on The Pavement (one of my favourite roads in Clairn darling!) who will inspire your barbecues by putting on a hog roast!! Plus there's 'The Taco Truck'! -Masers! I can't wait to go tomorrow! -See you there! and join their mailing list:
