Jean and Oliver Pelle’s approach to design is a constant exchange of ideas informed by their architectural background and their multidisciplinary practice.
The Soap Stones are handcrafted and are intended for both use and display. Consisting of all natural, vegetable-based soap ingredients, the Soap Stones are made and hand cut in their Brooklyn studio.
They are drawn from a material palette inspired by naturally occurring gemstones such as Rose Quartz and Aquamarine and metamorphic rock such as Jade and Onyx. They combine those brilliant colours with representative fragrances made from essential oils such as Eucalyptus and Camphor.
