It was a cold and frosty morning as Sly and I set up our stall at London's Truman Brewery, where we first met the gorgeous and amazing talent that is Rosie Bonnar; Creator/ Founder of BILL + MAR fashion boutique.
Bonnar named her Business after her Grandfolks and has been keeping herself busy making and selling her gorgeous stuff (that Sly simply cannot keep her hands off!) in both Spittlefields Market and The Truman Brewery for the past 8 months.
Her work was originally inspired by surrounding beautiful landscape, culture and people of Sydney after spending a year in Australia. She came back to the UK brimming with creativity and motivation. Bill+Mar was born.
Her label stands out against anything else you'll find in the East End marketplace. Her mix of unique materials, combinations, textures and colours really sets her apart. And I can certainly recognise a Bill+Mar Silhouette at more than 10 paces. Bonnar already has interest from Italien and Spanish fashionistas. Her work is certainly an exciting, contemporary addition to Londons trend setting street fashion. Watch this space.
